This isn't like my last post that was purely educational, this is a full out rant and has to deal with the one thing that makes me mad more so then all other things. Bad tippers what can i say more? Tipping is a part of going out to dinner and the servers who get those tips look at bad tippers are closest to the devil thimself.
First let me start with people you don't even know how to tip like its a foreign language, and sorry world ten percent isn't cutting it. Do most people not know that a server makes their money off their tips? And on top of everything ecomnoic times ruff but please don't waste the servers time with a bad tip. That little ten percent tip doesn't even count to most servers. I have even not put in tips becuse they are so slow i didn't see the pont of a dollor on a high bill. And those little tips don't make a dent into what a server need to make even to support them self and there family as well, and if the bad tipper is rude to boot o what can i say more?
I myself try to remember every table, and their order o and yes the amount they tip, and if i know you and your tip is sub hmmm par. I don't even have to try to remember that you tipped bad, take note world. When i go out to the bar or out to a restaurant i take in the amount i am going to spend and also the tip amount. The tipping part of it, is a part of the bill i hate those low life people who sit their and go all out for dinner and pretty much piss on the server on the tipping side of going out. It is better for them not go out then to waste a servers time by being less then genrous with their tip.
I myself being a server do have standards but i am more understanding then most people as well. I just want the truth from the server. Admitting they made a mistake, or that the kitchen is behind makes a world of difference to me. Wake up world, and see that servers and bartenders are people too not just tools for your enjoyment. Good tippers are rare these days, that number needs to grow i call for action either don't go out to a restaurant, or tip the right way that is all.

Parley you are a good man. However, you need an editor and spell check like a British citizen needs a toothbrush. I am in process of editing your posting for you, and I will repost your post. This way it will be grammatically correct.

ReplyDeleteFirst let me start with people who don't even know how to tip. To them it is like a foreign language, and sorry world ten percent is not cutting it. Do most people not know that a server makes most of their money off tips? On top of everything economic times are rough, but please don't waste the server’s time with a bad tip. That little ten percent tip doesn't even count to most servers. In the past I have not put in tips into the IRS tip counter at the end of my shift, because they were so low. I did not see the point of a dollar on a high bill. All those little tips don't make a dent into what a server need to make just to support them-selves and their family as well. If a bad tipper is also rude to boot oh what can I say more?
I myself try to remember every table, and their order plus the amount they tip. This way I will remember you and know your tip is subpar. Some times I don't even have to try to remember that you tipped bad, because it was just that horrible I could not forget. Take note world of bad tippers. When I go out to the bar or out to a restaurant, I take in the amount I am going to spend, and also tip at least 20% of the bill amount. As a server I despise low life people who sit in a restaurant and go all out for dinner, and forget about the server when it comes time to tip. It would better for them not to go out, then to waste a servers time by being less then generous with their tip.
As a server I do recognize I have high standards, but I am more understanding of a servers experience than most people. I just want the truth from the server if an issue comes up during my dining experience. Admitting they made a mistake, or that the kitchen is behind makes a world of difference to me. Wake up world, and see that servers and bartenders are people too, not just tools for your enjoyment. Good tippers are rare these days, that number needs to grow. I call for action either don't go out to a restaurant, or tip the right way that is all. In case you didn’t know the right way is 20% of the bill.
