I recently had this problem at my job that will remain nameless. The problem that i face is that of scheduling, someone to "work". I am a man of habit and i find it that for someone like me with having to double check my schedule after i write it down and then putting it my phone and its wrong. I don't' like to be late i don't like it at all in fact, it makes me mad when you think you are doing the right thing but then you get the big "EPIC FAIL" stamped right on to one's forehead, and you are the one who looks dumb. The best part is for a good portion of the time you have no idea that you even made the mistake in the first place.
I call for CHANGE when things are changed we need to know, i get so frustrated and when this happens i am going to go nuts, loose my mind and do everything your not suppose to do just because of the way that corporate America is setup. The BIG GUYS and the little guys, it isn't working and people don't like it, epically the people who work in the food service industry like myself. Lack of communication on either the persons fault or of that of the big guys is wrong. I call for the act of change, a change that will solve this problem that i am recently facing,
No simple quick fix for the problem ahead, all i ask for is for some few changes to make the time that is scheduled actually work. Better communication for the first part, with out that we are all lost and communication is the basis for a lot that goes on in the world, not just in the corporate world. Second i ask for better understanding from both ends the workers and the manager staff, and last of all i ask for change. Change must go into effect to affect the future of any industry small or large.
We live in a world of great advancements. Take a picture of your posted schedule. You have an windows kick a$$ phone. This way no other managers can dispute it.Unfortunately writing it down and even putting it in your phone does not void anyone from error.Just because you pride yourself as a man of habit and double checked does not mean you are above error. Also at the bottom of the page there is usually a date it was printed. look to see if this was changed past the usual post time of your work week. Fortunately. this was a first that this has happened to you correct? any one can make an error even the managers. but if you have proof in a picture not just cuz u say so then they can take that and bite it.. hehehe..I want to look at the date myself.. you know I will.. then I will say something too..
